Our History
Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation

Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation has changed a lot over the last twenty years, but one thing hasn't--our commitment to meet the growing health care needs in South Placer County by raising community support. When the Foundation began in 1984, the population of Roseville was approximately 25,000. Since that time it has grown to over 102,000. In 1993, Roseville Hospital became Sutter Roseville Medical Center, positioning itself to better meet the exciting and challenging health care needs of this growing region.

Through the generosity of community support, the Foundation has been able to give over $10.5 million to purchase equipment for the medical center; to provide hospice care for patients and their families; to offer community education and preventive health programs for cancer patients, seniors and infants; and to fund other requests that enhance patient care at the medical center. With all the changes that have taken place in the last twenty-one years, our ties to the community continue to be strong and our support of the medical center continues to be foremost. In the next four to five years, the Sutter Roseville campus will expand to serve twice as many patients.

Now as in the past, Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation is committed to raising the financial support necessary to allow the medical center to meet the growing health care needs of our region. Click here to learn more about the Sutter Roseville Medical Center Master Site Plan.
