Sutter Roseville Medical Center Role of Sutter Roseville Medical Center
Sutter Roseville Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center serving a seven-county region that includes Placer, Nevada, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties. Sutter Roseville is among the top 25 percent of trauma centers nationwide to successfully complete the rigorous verification survey conducted by the American College of Surgeons and meet the organization's most stringent quality requirements.
Each day, Sutter Roseville Medical Center's Trauma Center responds to life-threatening injuries that require immediate, specialized treatment. In addition, the SRMC Trauma Center is in partnership with CALSTAR (California Shock/Trauma Air Rescue), a non-profit community organization that provides emergency medical helicopter services. A helipad is located adjacent to the emergency department for immediate access to care. Sutter Roseville is committed to supporting Safe Kids Placer County to help prevent unnecessary injuries and save lives.
