Sutter Roseville Medical Center
A designated Level II Trauma Center, Sutter Roseville Medical Center provides 24-hour emergency care for illness and injury. The Medical Center is staffed 24 hours a day with a team of in-house trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, physician specialists, a full trauma support team and contracted staffing provided by California Emergency Physicians (CEP). The Emergency Department treats over 50,000 patients per year and is strategically located close to the diagnostic imaging, surgery, and the critical care area. The Trauma Center is designated by the Sierra-Sacramento Valley Emergency Medical Services Agency and verified by the American College of Surgeons, thus meeting the most stringent standards for trauma center quality.
Through ambulance, nonprofit CALSTAR (California Shock/Trauma Air Rescue) helicopter services and onsite helipad, the Trauma Center serves over 800,000 people in seven counties. The service area includes the counties of Placer, Nevada, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties, and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties.
Dedicated patient and ambulance entrances serve emergency services strategically located close to trauma, diagnostic imaging, surgery, critical care areas, and two spacious, well-equipped resuscitation rooms.
