Sutter Roseville Medical Center Rehabilitation Department features a well-equipped dedicated area that serves the needs of patients undergoing cardiac, orthopedic, neurology recoveries.
Rehabilitation services provide ongoing assistance for patients recovering from strokes or injuries, or who are dealing with long-term conditions such as heart or lung disease. The state-of-the-art facility is staffed by more than 40 therapists and support staff in the full spectrum of rehabilitation disciplines. An in-ground therapy pool, fully equipped kitchen, and suspended and floor equipment are designed to serve the varying needs of patients.
Additional rehabilitation support programs include:
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Mended Hearts - a support group for heart patients or family members of loved ones who have come face-to-face with some type of heart disease.
- Heart/Health Diet - a program in which participants learn to identify nutritional foods to sustain healthy hearts
- Understanding Coronary Disease - a class that provides information on treatment options
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- Classes that provide information needed to manage lung disease
- AIM: Asthma Information and Management to help minimize the cost of treatment by providing education to adults and to parents of children with asthma
- Better Breathers Club, a support group for those with chronic lung disease
